Golf Day

ITM is holding a Conference Golf Day on Tuesday 15th April (ie the day before the main conference opens) at Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, a luxury 4-star hotel situated in one of Dublin’s most beautiful surroundings with beach frontage and overlooking the Irish Sea.

The ITM Conference Golf Day will be free to enter*, although participants are encouraged to make a donation to the chairman’s charity.

The event will be a four-ball, Stableford format, with the best two scores on each hole counting. Golfers of all handicaps are welcome. The timetable will be as follows.

9.00 – 10.00am - Arrive, register & breakfast (transport will be provided from Dublin Airport)
10.00 – 12.00pm - Tee off (shotgun or staggered, to be advised)
12.00 – 2.00pm - BBQ served at the Halfway House
3.00 – 4.00pm - Refreshments at the 19th hole followed by presentations
5.00 – 5.30pm - Transfer to Crowne Plaza and other conference hotels

There will be prizes for the best team, best individual score, nearest the pin and longest drive. To enter, simply click on the box when registering and we will contact you for handicap and other information.

* Green fees, breakfast and lunch are provided FOC. Electric carts are available, priced €45 each (10 carts available), and clubs can be hired from €45 - €55.

The Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links is only 15 minutes drive from Dublin Airport and is located within the tastefully converted old family home of the Jameson family, made famous by their Irish whiskey business.

The Golf Links was designed by Bernhard Langer and is a championship course which makes full use of the surrounding dunes and natural terrain to provide a layout that will please the most ardent of golf purists – not to mention the characteristic links sea breezes combining to ensure that you will be all the more fulfilled by the unique challenge it presents.
