1. Who should attend?
- Anyone who purchases business travel or related services on behalf of their organisation

2. Do I have to be an ITM member?
- No. Although ITM buyer members can attend the conference free of charge, and ITM supplier members for a fee, the event is also open to non-member buyers. A special rate is available to non-member buyers although by joining ITM a buyer may attend the conference free of charge. The conference is not open to non-member suppliers.
3. Why should I attend?
4. Will delegates be made up exclusively of buyers?
- Although around 40% of ITM's membership is made up of airlines, hotels, surface transport providers and travel management companies; the ratio of buyer to supplier delegates attending the conference is a strictly controlled 50:50.
5. Will I have to attend meetings with suppliers?
- Yes. In order to receive complimentary delegate registration, buyers are required to attend meetings with our sponsors. Some suppliers attending the conference may also wish to meet with particular buyers. In these cases, we would make buyers aware of the supplier's identity, and allow buyers to decide whether or not they wish to arrange a meeting.
6. Are all the sessions compulsory?
- None of the sessions are compulsory, however we would hope that every delegate would wish to make the most of the educational and networking opportunities that the conference provides.
7. Will transportation to the venue be provided?
- Complimentary travel is provided to all those delegates who register before the 31st December. You will have indicated your preferred mode of transport during the registration process, and a member of the events team will be in touch to confirm your details.
8. Can I stay after the Event?
- Rates have been negotiated at the hotels for Friday and Saturday night if you wish to extend your stay. You can find the rates on the Hotel information page. Although ITM will endeavour to provide complimentary travel for those traveling after Friday 18th we cannot guarantee this.
9. What is the dress code for the conference?
- The code is business casual for the business sessions and smart casual attire (ie no jeans) for the evening sessions (see Q10). The exception is the Gala Dinner, which is strictly black tie (see Q11)

12. What time do we need to check out of our rooms on Friday and what will we do with our luggage?
- You will need to check out before the conference starts on Friday Morning. Please therefore visit the Hotel reception desk to settle you account.
- Luggage can be stored at the Crowne Plaza Hotel concierge.

15. Can I bring a Guest to the Gala Dinner ?
- Spaces are limited and at the moment we cannot offer places for partners. If this situation changes we will notify everybody and places will be on a first request basis. There will be a charge for partner tickets.
16. Can I bring a Guest to the Wednesday night event?
- No, this is only open to delegates attending the conference
17. When will I receive my delegate pack?
- This years delegate pack will be available as a downloadable PDF file. We will contact you nearer the time to inform you of when it is available on line. This is part of ITM’s commitment to sustainability in all aspects of business travel.
